Practices for Semester 1//Wednesday, February 24, 2010//9:11 PM

Dear Choir Members and Parents of new members,

As mentioned on 23rd Feb 2010, the following are the practice schedule for Semester 1;

Term 1

Tuesday 4pm - 6.30m (combined practice with Mr. Lim)

Thursday Section Leaders to decide on the need to conduct sectionals.

Term 2

Tuesday 4pm - 6.30m (combined practice with Mr. Lim)

Thursday 4pm - 6.30m (combined practice with Mr. Lim)

The rationale for asking you to come at 4pm is to disseminate information and settle any other administrative issues before Mr Lim arrives at 4.30pm. I do not wish to hold you back after the practice with Mr Lim at 6.30pm.

Great Job for CNY Performance//Friday, February 12, 2010//1:50 PM

Dear Choir...

I'm so proud of you all for putting up such a wonderful performance today. Not only did you sing well, you also looked really good. I think Mr Lim deserves a lot of credit. Three Cheers for Mr Lim!!! Mr Lim had to leave quickly after the performance as he has another school to go to. However, his message to me is that you all sang really well. During my casual conversation with him, he also commended all of you for being very dedicated and hard working. Keep it up!!!

I'd also like to thank the senior for coming back to listen you the choir. I really hope to see you all more often. I'm working out something with the current exco to form a Choir Alumni. Hope that you'll give us your support.

Hope that all of you liked the little new year (or Valentine's Day) gift I prepared for you. I know I hope that all of you will keep up the energy in-spite of the mounting pressure from school work. But with most Thursdays off for this term, I hope that all of you are spending your time wisely after school catching up with school work.

Reflection on today's Rehearsal//Wednesday, February 3, 2010//8:59 PM

Dear Choir,

Thank you for your enthusiasm today. I know that everyone is feeling the pressure from school work, thanks for giving your 100%. I think that you all did well today, so proud of you all. This is a good start to the year.

Please do take note of the following points from today's rehearsal;

Some of you still look a bit tense. I know it feel strange... but just imaging that Mr Lim is standing there conducting you. Imagine what he'll look like when you do smile.
The order of the songs are as follow; Peng You, He Xin Nian. After this, we'll exit and let band play the theme song from Ponyo. Immediately after that song, you will enter again and sing Da di huei chun together with band.
Remember to look confident.

Please also take note of the next two rehearsal dates;

Hall Concert Rehearsal Dates:

2^nd Combined rehearsal : 5^th Feb. ( Fri) Time: 2 pm to 6 pm

Final rehearsal : 10^th Feb. (Wed) Time: 2.45 pm-6 pm

There will not be any practices on Thurday until Term 2. Please use this time wisely to catchup with your school work.
